Homeward Bound of Marin operates 12 programs for homeless men, women and children, offering more than 400 beds per night and serving approximately 1,400 people each year. In 2007-08, more than 81% of the families served, and 75% of the single adults graduating from our programs, moved out of homelessness and into housing.

We administer our programs in three main divisions designed to meet particular sets of needs: Family Services, Adult Services and Mental Health Services. Each comprises inter-related residential programs and support services.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, Homeward Bound helps each person prioritize goals in a personal action plan. In this way, incorporating an array of support services from counseling to job training to credit repair, Homeward Bound helps residents focus on the next steps in their journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Homeward Bound respects and protects the privacy of its residents. For details, please read our privacy practices.
