
- Executive Director Mary Kay Sweeney, PhD -- Mary Kay works passionately to end homelessness with all the resources at her disposal as executive director for Homeward Bound of Marin, where she took the helm in 2000 after seven years with the agency. She previously held assistant executive director positions at Seva Foundation and Canal Community Alliance. She was awarded the Heart of Marin Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership in 2006 and presented topics at the National Alliance to End Homelessness convention in 2006, 2007 and 2010.
- Deputy Director Paul Fordham - Paul plays an integral part in Homeward Bound's community relations, program development and strategic planning efforts. He served as Homeward Bound's development director from 2006 to 2010, when he assumed the deputy director position. He previously worked in the development field for private consultants and has served the homeless population with Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento and Julian House in Bath, England. He holds a B.A. in English and American Studies and presented at the Marin Nonprofit Conference in 2006 and 2008.
- Clinical Director Kerby Ann Gleeson - Kerby Ann brings a 40-year history of working with diverse and disenfranchised populations to her job as clinical director for our programs, a post she has held since 1993. In this capacity, she works with resource counselors and therapists serving our clients to implement the best practices for their success as well as supervising and mentoring interns from several universities. Kerby has worked as field faculty for the University of California at Berkeley, San Francisco State University, John F. Kennedy University, and Dominican University. She holds a Master's in Social Welfare.
- Director of Operations Jeffrey Woo - Jeff takes charge of property management for Homeward Bound's 14 residential programs and Novato headquarters, as well as carrying responsibilities in the human resources arena. He comes to Homeward Bound with a breadth of experience that includes stints as a San Jose police officer, a manager of building maintenance crews and operations/customer service manager for the Department of Health in Berkeley.
